For day 14 of the 2024 character a day challenge I am returning to Beyond the Wall and other adventures. This time I am using the ‘Last of a Fallen House’ playbook which created a warrior-rogue. I have never created a character using this particular playbook so it will be interesting to see how it works out. Lets crack on then.
Characters name is Xavis Hardbreak. Gains +1 Dex from the Local Performer character.
- What did your parents do in the village? What did you learn from them? d12 roll = 12.
Your farther was a local merchant. You learned to charm your customers and name your price.
+2 Cha, +1 Int, +1 Dex. Skill Haggling - How did you distinguish yourself as a child? d8 roll = 8.
Everyone has something to teach and you learned from all of them. +1 Dex, +1 Int, +1 Wis. - The other player characters were your best friends. Who else in the village befriended you when you were growing up? d8 roll = 2
The fishermen took a liking to you and you swapped stories with them, +2 Dex, +1 Wis - You become a level 1 warrior-rogue. Class abilities, Knacks & Fortune Favour. Skill Command.
- How did you discover your heratige? d6 roll = 3.
As soon as you were old enough to wield a sword, your family told you why you should. +2 Str +1 Wis, Skill Athletics. - How did your family teach you to right the wrongs of the past? d6 roll = 4.
They taught you to be the first to action and not wait for injustice to strike. +2 Dex. Knack – Fleet (+1 initiative). - Something told you to reclaim your heritage. What was it? d6 roll = 2.
An innocent man was accused unfairly of murder, and you knew of his innocence. +2 Int. (the friend to the right gets +1 Int) - What sign of your ancient family do you still bear? d6 roll = 3.
