Phosphorus, Tiny Fire Drake
I needed to create a tiny fire drake to be the guardian of the forge at the blacksmiths in Willowshade. This is what I came up with.

- Creature Type: Tiny Dragon (Fire)
- Alignment: Chaotic Good
- Armor Class: 16
- Hit Points: 18
- Speed: 30 ft., Fly 40 ft.
- STR: 10 (+0) DEX: 16 (+3) CON: 12 (+1) INT: 10 (+0) WIS: 12 (+1) CHA: 14 (+2)
Traits & Abilities:
- Fire Breath (Recharge 1d6 rounds) – Phosphorus exhales a small burst of flame in a 10-ft. cone. Creatures in the area must make a DC 13 Reflex save or take 2d6 fire damage.
- Bonded Companion – Can telepathically communicate with its chosen companion within 30 feet. Strong emotional bonds form over time.
- Heat Affinity – Resistant to fire damage. Loves warm environments and instinctively seeks sources of heat.
- Mischievous Nature – Gains +2 on Stealth and Deception checks when causing minor trouble (hiding, stealing snacks, distracting foes).
Actions:
- Fiery Nip (Melee) – +5 to hit, 1d4 piercing + 1d4 fire damage.
- Flutter Dodge – When targeted, can use its reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack by darting unpredictably in the air.
- Ember Spark – Once per long rest, Phosphorus can emit a small flare, creating dim light in a 30-ft. radius for 10 minutes.
