hollow-wight. Forestbound Spirit of Forgotten Grief

The Hollow-Wight appears as a tall, emaciated figure cloaked in moss and bark, with a hollow chest cavity that echoes with whispers. Its face is a smooth mask of pale wood, carved with a single expression—grief, rage, or longing.

When a villager dies alone and unremembered, especially in places tied to deep emotion (a lover’s grove, a child’s play hollow) the hollow-shade is formed. The land itself mourns, shaping the Hollow-Wight from bark, mist, and lingering sorrow.
