Rosa Garcia.

female post apocalypse character

Rosa Garcia’s early years were marked by constant movement and survival. Born into a nomadic group that roamed the post-apocalyptic wastelands, she learned to adapt quickly to the ever-changing environment. Her parents, both skilled scavengers, taught her the value of old technology, which often held the key to survival in this harsh new world.

When Rosa was 13, a devastating sandstorm separated her from her family. Alone and frightened, she wandered the desolate landscape until she stumbled upon a small, abandoned shack. It was there that she found Ruin, a scrappy dog who had also lost his family. The two formed an unbreakable bond, relying on each other for companionship and protection.

At 14, Rosa discovered Settlement, a small community striving to rebuild some semblance of normalcy. Though she preferred the solitude of her shack, she recognized the benefits of being close to a community. The elders of Settlement quickly noticed her knack for old tech and began to rely on her to track down and repair valuable items. Her knowledge and skills became indispensable, and she earned the respect and trust of the community.

Rosa’s shack, filled with salvaged tech and makeshift repairs, became a hub for those seeking her expertise. Despite her young age, she possessed a deep understanding of pre-apocalypse technology, often surprising the elders with her ingenuity. Her dog, Ruin, was always by her side, providing both companionship and an extra set of eyes and ears in the dangerous wilderness.

Though she is fiercely independent, Rosa has a soft spot for the people of Settlement, especially the children who remind her of the family she lost. She dreams of one day finding her parents or at least discovering what happened to them. Until then, she continues to serve her community, using her skills to make life a little easier for those around her.

Snipe

Snipe was born and raised in Settlement, a small but resilient community that has managed to carve out a safe haven in the post-apocalyptic wilderness. From a young age, he was fascinated by the stories of bravery and survival told by the elders, especially those involving his parents, who were among the founding members of Settlement. His parents, well-respected and admired, instilled in him a deep sense of duty and loyalty to the community.

Snipe’s exceptional marksmanship became evident early on. By the age of 10, he could hit targets with uncanny precision, earning him the nickname “Snipe.” His skills with a rifle were unmatched, and he quickly became known for his ability, he could ‘shoot a cigar from the mouth of a squirrel’, not that there are many squirrels around. This talent made him an invaluable asset to Settlement, especially in defending against raiders and other threats

At 16, Snipe officially joined the ranks of the Settlement’s guards. He took on the responsibility of patrolling the wooden palisade that protected the community, always vigilant and ready to defend his home. His dedication to the safety of Settlement’s inhabitants was unwavering, and he often volunteered for the most dangerous assignments, earning the respect and admiration of his peers.

Despite his serious demeanor while on duty, Snipe has a kind heart and a strong sense of justice but can be prone to making rash decisions. He is deeply devoted to his parents, who continue to guide and support him. Their wisdom and experience have shaped him into a young man who values community and the importance of working together to survive.

Snipe dreams of a future where Settlement can expand and thrive, free from the constant threat of raiders and other dangers. He trains daily, honing his skills and preparing for the day when he might need to lead the defense of his home. Though he is young, his resolve and commitment to the community make him a natural leader and a beacon of hope for the future.

Ronan Wolfe

Ronan Wolfe was born into a world already on the brink of collapse. His parents, both former military personnel, instilled in him a sense of discipline and survival skills from a young age. They were part of a nomadic tribe that roamed the desolate landscapes, scavenging for resources and defending themselves against the dangers of the post-apocalyptic world.

Tragedy struck when Ronan was just 12 years old. A raid by a rival group left his parents dead and the tribe scattered. Alone and heartbroken, Ronan wandered the wilderness, relying on the survival skills his parents had taught him. He became a skilled hunter, able to track and take down prey with precision. His solitary nature grew as he avoided other groups, mistrusting strangers after the loss of his family.

At 18, Ronan stumbled upon a small community known simply as “Settlement.” The inhabitants, a mix of former city dwellers and other wanderers, had carved out a semblance of normalcy amidst the chaos. Though he preferred solitude, Ronan recognized the benefits of being part of a community. He offered his skills as a hunter in exchange for shelter and supplies, becoming a valuable, if somewhat distant, member of Settlement.

Ronan’s past has made him wary and reserved, but he is fiercely loyal to those he considers friends. He often ventures out alone into the wilderness, both to hunt and to find moments of peace away from the memories that haunt him. Despite his young age, his experiences have made him wise beyond his years, and he carries the weight of his past with a quiet strength.

In the Settlement, Ronan is known as a protector and provider, though few truly know the depth of his pain and the strength of his resolve. He dreams of a day when he can find peace, but until then, he remains ever vigilant, a lone wolf in a world gone mad.
