I left Weasel as he had walked into the reception area of Modus Pharmaceutical and was about to ask to see Levantha Ashterka.

Scene 16 – At the Modus Pharma reception area.

Weasel boldly walks up to the reception desk, showing his fake id to the receptionist he says he is here for a meeting with Ashterka.

Question. Does the receptionist know Ashterka? d100 = 48, No, Because…

The receptionist tells Weasel that he cannot be here for a meeting with Ashterka as she left the company some months ago.
Weasel asks if the receptionist knows Ashterkas home address [Char(Persuasion) check, Rolls 3 on d20, a great success)] Receptionist gives Weasel Ashterkas current address, phone number and email.

Deciding not to push his luck, Weasel starts to leave the Modus building and head back to the Munroe district and club Jade where he had arranged to rendezvous with Kid, Rook and Shona.
As he walks towards the main entrance a man stops Weasel and accuses him of stealing his lunch and trys to prevent Weasel from leaving. Telling the man that he is very much mistaken, Weasel attempts to push past him, (opposed strength test, man (Str 11) roll 12, weasel (Str 9) rolls 7). Weasel pushes the man to one side and quickly leaves the Modus Pharma building before security can stop him.

As he walks back towards the subway he receives a message on his cell telling him that Kid, Rook and Shona have returned to Shona’s apartment. Weasel takes the subway back to Foundry Bay and Shona’s place.

Scene 17 – back at Shona’s appartment.

Back at Shona’s apartment, (although to call Shona’s place an apartment was stretching things but compared to Weasel and Kids place it was a palace), Weasel was keen to find out what, if anything, they had found out at club jade, he is also keen to say what he found out at the Modus Pharma buildings.

As they talked Shonas cell goes off. Her screen shows only todays date and time, the screen is locked and whatever Shona does she cannot get past this screen.

{Authors note : At this point I paused the game. I knew I was getting into a bit of a muddle with it all. Although I had typed the game up as I played it, my lack of hand written notes was causing me issues, there were threads and NPC’s that I had forgotten about that I could be important that I should be following up. So I got a notepad out, read the game from the start and jotted the important bits down.
