We are already halfway through January and so halfway through the challenge.
For day 16 I am going to create the female sidekick or perhaps more accurately and correctly, partner in Ru Wires detective agency.
I am going to give her the name Cully Lavaux.

Step 1, Attributes.
rolling 3d6 6 times I get – Str: 13, Dex: 11, Con: 10, Int: 14, Wis:12, Cha: 10
I can change one attribute to 14, so Cha is now 14.
Final attributes are

Con 10 (0)
Int 14 (+1)

Step 2, Background.
I roll randomly on the background table and find Cully was once Performer, (actress, finding hard to make a living acting).
As such she gets a Free Skill, Perform-0. I also give him the quick skills Lead-0 & Connect-0.

Step 3. Contacts.
I give my detective two acquaintances. Rolling on the example contacts table and Start of the relationship table twice I get

Experienced Vehicle Mechanic – Highly attracted to you.

Step 4. Edges.
I pick Face and Prodigy as the two edges for Cully.
The Prodigy edge allows one attribute to be changed to 18(+3 mod). I choose her Dex attribute

Step 5. Foci.

I give her ‘Safe Haven’ so she gains sneak as a bonus skill (sneak-0)

Step 6. Hit Points.
Cully detective rolls 2. He gets 0 Con bonus so HP = 2

Step 7. Attack Bonus
Normal Attack Bonus 0, On Target Attack Bonus +1
