Paizo have a new Humble Bundle for Pathfinder. 72 pdfs including 2nd edition players and GM guides and 3 bestiary books for just £23.16p (about $30.00 US).

Yes, I went for it. No, I don’t need it, Yes, I will run it.

What you get.

Apart from the core books and bestiaries, you get another 67 pdfs, a mix of adventures, supplements and Flip-Mats (which are VTT battle maps I believe).

There really is far to much for me to list here but included are :-

Lost Omens, Monsters of Myth
Lost Omens, Pathfinder Society Guide
18 Pathfinder Society Adventures
11 other adventures
28 flip mats, (if I counted correctly)
and a host of other stuff including a GM Screen, Harrow Deck, character sheets and several Lost Omens guides.

Enough to keep me going for a very long time.

Other options.

There are two other bundles, for £11.58 you get 37 pdfs which includes the Players Core book and Pathfinder Beginners Box set, certainly enough to get you started and probably keep you entertained for quite a long while.

Also, for a very modest £3.86, you can pick up 8 pdfs, including the Pathfinder Beginners Box set and a Pathfinder Quest for 1st to 4th level characters, so if you just fancy dipping your toe in to the Pathfinder system, this option allows you do so for little more than the price of coffee.

Why did I buy it?

Its true, I have more than enough RPG books to keep me entertained for a very long time, I really did not need to buy Pathfinder and end up with it living a lonely existence on my hard drive.

I have a desire to run a more High Fantasy LOTR style campaign than my current two fantasy campaigns. I think Pathfinder will work very well for that style of game, for a very modest outlay I have the chance to find out.

Also, and this was a big incentive for me, the Flip-Mats will be really useful. I am always searching the web looking for maps I can use in my solo games to save me time drawing them myself, (I do occasionally draw my own and enjoy the process but, time is a factor), and these maps will save me heaps of time.

And then there is the fact that for the price you get so much stuff. Even if I never play all those adventures, I can certainly pinch some of the ideas for my own games.

As I type this, this Humble Bundle has raised £17’000 for charity, so for that reason alone it was worth supporting.

If you fancy having a look at the Pathfinder system, pop over to https://www.humblebundle.com/books/pathfinder-second-edition-happy-birthday-remaster-bundle-from-paizo-inc-books and get the books for a silly knock down price while you can.

Adventure on.
